Emerging technologies are shaping the world in which we live.  As teachers in the 21st century we are striving to prepare today’s students for the competitive and ever-changing global markets of tomorrow.  Australia needs enterprising individuals who can make sharp decisions about the development and use of technologies and who can independently and collaboratively develop solutions to complex challenges and contribute to sustainable patterns of living. Technologies can play an important role in transforming, restoring and sustaining societies and natural, managed and constructed environments.

This website aims to provide two (2) resources to support the implementation of specific Year 3-4 content descriptions from the Australian Curriculum: Technology.  The resources provide teachers with easy-to-navigate, flexible and educationally relevant sources of teaching and learning strategies to promote knowledge and practical skill so learners are ready to respond creatively to current and future needs.
